Marc Overmars played for Arsenal Football Club. The former Dutch winger joined Arsenal in 1997 from Ajax for reportedly £5-7million. Overmars left Arsenal for Barcelona in 2000 for reportedly £25m. In total, he made 142 appearances for Arsenal and scored 41 goals. Overmars wore the number 11 shirt for Arsenal. He is currently the Director of Football at Ajax and is married to Chantal van Woensel. Overmars was born on March 29, 1973.
