Nwankwo Kanu played for Arsenal Football Club. The former Nigerian forward joined Arsenal in 1999 from Inter Milan for £4.15m. Kanu left Arsenal for West Brom in 2004 on a free transfer. In total, he made 198 appearances for Arsenal and scored 44 goals. Kanu wore the number 25 shirt for Arsenal. The Olympic Gold medal winner was a part of the Invincibles squad that won the League without losing a match. He is the founder of the Kanu Heart Foundation and serves as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. Kanu was born August 1, 1976.
