Boniface shared his sentiments on The Obi One Podcast, hosted by former Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel.
During the podcast, Boniface said, “For me, right from a young age I’ve supported Arsenal all my life.” This revelation is significant, considering Arsenal’s current search for a striker.
Boniface, with his impressive record of 16 goals in 23 games this season, is emerging as a potential target.
Furthermore, Boniface spoke highly of former Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka, who now plays with him at Leverkusen.
He praised Xhaka’s impact on the team, saying, “He has experience, maturity and he’s a top top professional.”
He elaborated on Xhaka’s influence, “We have a young squad but with Granit, it feels like we’ve been playing for a long time because he talks to us and tries to help us.”
