Arsenal have invited the likes of Thierry Henry, Patrick Vieira, Dennis Bergkamp and many more back to the club for Arsene Wenger’s final home game, according to reports.

Sami Mokbel of the Daily Mail reports that the club have written invites to all members of the ‘100 Club’ to attend the match. To qualify for the club you have to make 100 appearances for the club, and you also have to have already retired. So the likes of Olivier Giroud, Cesc Fabregas and Abou Diaby haven’t made it just yet.

To name just a few who have, there’s Tony Adams, Sol Campbell, Robert Pires, Nwankwo Kanu, Liam Brady, David O’Leary, Alan Smith, Ian Wright and many more. See the full list on the Arsenal website.

If they all accept their invites the stadium should be packed full of Arsenal legends this weekend. Hopefully we’ll get to hear from a few of them throughout the day.

This goes along with the rumours we’ve already heard of a guard of honour for the boss. There are also reports that the club might rename one of the stands after him.

At this stage nothing is confirmed, but it certainly seems like the club are preparing something special for Wenger’s last outing at the stadium he helped to make a reality.
