Arsenal’s weekend was a relatively eventful one, so let’s recap what happened.

Arsenal travelled to Crystal Palace for the weekend’s early kick-off, coming away with a point and a need for both Mikel Arteta and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to apologise for his red card tackle that left Max Meyer facing likely ligament damage.

Arsenal will now be without Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for three games as he serves his suspension.

Lucas Torreira picked up a muscle injury against Crystal Palace on Saturday, but it’s not yet clear how long he will be out for.

Towards the end of last week, Arsenal u18s overcame Southampton in the FA Youth Cup on Thursday night, progressing to the fifth round of the competition.

On Sunday, Arsenal’s women maintained their place at the top of the FA WSL with a 4-0 win over Brighton.

William Saliba is back in training with the Saint-Etienne squad, but he’s still doing individual work as he recovers from injury.

Arsenal are re-signing Brazilian scout Sandro Orlandelli from Manchester United on Edu recommendation, according to reports.

Emile Smith Rowe joined Huddersfield Town on loan until the end of the season. He joined the Huddersfield Town squad for the first time as they faced Barnsley on Saturday, though he didn’t feature in the final 18.

Tyreece John-Jules made his debut for Lincoln City against Shrewsbury Town on Saturday, earning praise for his performance on the day.

Arsenal and Barcelona both hold an interest in Dayot Upamecano for a January transfer, according to reports in Spain.

Arsenal are also said to be one of the clubs in for Lille midfielder Boubakary Soumare, with his current side ‘very open’ to selling this month.

After the Mirror claimed Mikel Arteta and Arsenal are looking at Hakan Calhanoglu for a January transfer, AC Milan fans had a tongue-in-cheek response.

Granit Xhaka is ‘very comfortable’ at Arsenal according to his brother and won’t be leaving the club in January despite persistent Hertha Berlin rumours.

Mikel Arteta says he wants Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to stay at the club but doesn’t know if he will because it hasn’t been discussed yet.

Arsenal centre-back Konstantinos Mavropanos is on the verge of a move to FC Nurnberg on loan, according to reports in Germany.

Same old Arsenal, always cheated. Look, let’s be clear from the start. I don’t think there is an anti-Arsenal refereeing bias or conspiracy. I do, however, think there’s something unconscious going on somewhere and it’s resulting in Arsenal getting screwed regularly.

Gedion Zelalem has signed for New York City FC less than a year after joining Sporting Kansas City who declined to take up his option.

With Liverpool and Tottenham going head-to-head on Saturday, the Daily Telegraph compared the two club’s net spend since January 2016 and it tells a very different story to what other parts of the media would have you believe.

Manchester United are expected to sell their captain Ashley Young this week. They are also considering a £60m+ deal for Bruno Fernandes.

Barcelona will be without Luis Suarez for the rest of the season after he underwent knee surgery.

Tottenham are expected to sign Gedson Fernandes on loan from Benfica this week with his medical expected on Monday.
