Mikel Arteta is reportedly in the market for three players when the January window opens.
With the transfer window opening not long after the World Cup finishes, thoughts are starting to turn to who Arsenal could bring in to sustain their push in the Premier League this season.
Mikel Arteta is known to want to add a winger to the squad, particularly after they were unable to replace Nicolas Pepe (who is having a great time back in France).
Marquinhos was kept with the squad instead of being sent out on loan, but Arteta clearly wants a player with more experience. Shakhtar Donetsk’s Mykhaylo Mudryk apparently tops that list.
The 21-year-old has seven goals and seven assists in 13 games this season and will not come cheap.
Orlando City winger, Facundo Torres, has also become heavily linked in the last week after comments by his agent.
Arsenal are also said to be targeting a left-sided centreback with Evan Ndicka top of that particular list.
He is available for free in the summer so a cut-price move could be on in January as Eintracht Frankfurt try to make something back on their investment.
Finally, Arsenal are also said to want a midfielder.
They tried hard to sign Douglas Luiz on deadline day but now that he has signed an extension with Aston Villa is no longer seen as an option.
Palmeiras’s Danilo has been heavily linked and seems to be the main target at the time of writing.
