Martin Keown played for Arsenal Football Club. The former English defender joined Arsenal in 1980 and made his first team debut in 1984 on loan at Brighton & Hove Albion. His Arsenal debut came in 1985. Keown left Arsenal for Aston Villa in 1986 for £200,000, but returned to Arsenal in 1993 from Everton for £2m. In total, he made 449 appearances for Arsenal and scored 8 goals. Keown wore the number 5 shirt for Arsenal, but he wore several other numbers as well during his time at the club. He was part of the Invincibles squad that won the league without losing a match. Keown is currently a pundit on tv and radio. He was born on July 24, 1966. He is the father of footballer Niall Keown.
