Gilberto Silva played for Arsenal Football Club. The former Brazilian midfielder joined Arsenal from Atletico Mineiro in 2002 for £4.5m. Gilberto left Arsenal for Panathinaikos in 2008. In total, he made 244 appearances for Arsenal and scored 24 goals. Gilberto wore the number 19 shirt for Arsenal. He was part of the Invincibles squad that won the league without losing a match. Gilberto was born on October 7, 1976.
