When Gabriel Martinelli opened the scoring for Arsenal against Nottingham Forest before capping off his evening by spanking the fifth and final goal into the top corner, he became the eighth Brazilian to score for the club, but can you name the other seven?

Still only 18, Gabriel Martinelli delighted on his first start for the club, grabbing a brace and generally torturing the Forest backline. He then followed that up with another brace, and an assist, against Standard Liege in the Europa League.

He enters an exclusive club of Brazilians who have played and scored for the club and, given what we saw from him in the League Cup, we can expect the man from Guarulhos to top this chart before he’s of legal age to drink in the States.
