The partnership with Ganzberg beer represents the second beer partnership announced by Arsenal in recent months after they set-up Camden Town Brewery as the club’s official beer partner until 2022.

Ganzberg, however, don’t just make beer. The deal will also see the company named as Arsenal’s official fruit juice, soft drink and honey lemon tea drinks partner in the region.

What a world.

Hadrien Pera, Arsenal director of APAC (Asia Pacific), said: “Our passionate supporters are based all around the world and we know the love that fans in Cambodia have for football and for Arsenal.

“We are also excited to connect with new fans in Cambodia through this partnership, whilst sharing our expertise to deliver coaching programmes and supporting Ganzberg to engage their consumers.”

Ganzberg’s Brewmaster added: “We are really excited to be partnering with Arsenal Football Club.

“This is a great partnership because of our shared values and it reflects our commitment to bring world-class content to our valued customers here. We hope strongly that the deal will help us to become the number one beer in the market.”

It is hoped the deal will help increase Arsenal’s appeal in Asia with branding on billboards, cans and digital advertising from the German beer manufacturer. Arsenal will also deliver an annual community coaching clinic.

Arsenal legend Gilberto helped launch the partnership in Phnom Penh.
