Our annual Champions league match against Bayern is slowly approaching so it’s the perfect time to discuss our Champions league history.

There have been hundreds of articles and infogrpahs about Arsenal’s adventures in Europe’s biggest competition so I won’t talk too much about it. I decided to go more in artistic direction.

The infograph below is about 19 years of history, equally good and bad. This is our 20th season in a row of Champions League football and the match against Bayern will be our 200th in the competition.

There have been some great moments and some devastating ones but we still have a positive win ratio. I guess most of the losses happened in the worst possible moments.

The photos used are from Champions League matches in certain season and I tried to cover both happy and sad moments. I hope you like this mixture of graphics and data.

Now bring on Bayern!
