Lukas Podolski has finally said his goodbyes to Arsenal after transferring to Galatasaray and has admitted that he’ll forever be a Gunner.

In keeping with Poldi’s usual style, he took to Twitter to post a small statement and short video thanking the club and the supporters. As usual, he uttered that famous phrase that so many before him have – ‘once a Gunner, always a Gunner‘ – or words to that affect anyway. He thanked everyone from the team to the backroom staff in what is actually quite a touching statement.
