Former Gunner to terminate AC Milan contract by mutual consent
Former Arsenal midfielder Ismael Bennacer is set to terminate his AC Milan contract by mutual consent, as Qatari side Al-Shamal Sports Club push to sign him.
Ismaël Bennacer is a professional footballer who currently plays as a midfielder for AC Milan and the Algerian national team. Bennacer began his career with Arles-Avignon in the French second division, where he made his professional debut in 2015. He joined Italian club Empoli the following year, and quickly established himself as a key player for the team. In 2019, he was named the best player in the Italian second division and helped Empoli win promotion to Serie A. That same year, Bennacer joined AC Milan and has since become a regular starter for the club. In addition to his club success, Bennacer was also a key player for the Algerian national team that won the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
