Arsenal are one of the clubs monitoring Ismael Bennacer, but they’re yet to make a concrete move for the AC Milan midfielder.

Daniele Longo reports that Liverpool, Chelsea, and Arsenal are all monitoring Ismael Bennacer for a potential transfer, though the Italian journalist adds that there haven’t been any concrete moves so far.
For now, Bennacer’s priority is his contract extension talks with AC Milan. Before the end of 2022, the player’s agent is expected to meet with management.
Of course, if that meeting doesn’t go well, the transfer window opens immediately afterwards.
Milan would then be significantly more likely to cash in on a player whose deal expires in 2024.
Italian journalist Carlo Laudisa previously reported that the same three Premier League clubs all had Bennacer in their sights, and the player’s renewal process with Milan was said to be an “economic battle”.

Arsenal initially signed Bennacer in 2015, quickly giving him his first-team debut in the League Cup at the age of 17. But that ended up being the midfielder’s only appearance for the Gunners’ first team.
Bennacer signed for Empoli in Serie B, winning promotion and playing a campaign in Serie A before he caught the attention of AC Milan.
In three-and-a-half seasons since then, Bennacer has established himself as a key player for Milan, making 126 appearances.
Most recently, he played 17 minutes of Arsenal’s friendly match against Milan in Dubai, scoring his penalty in the shootout.
