Alan Smith played for Arsenal Football Club. The former English striker joined Arsenal from Leicester City in 1987. Smith retired as an Arsenal player in 1995. In total, he made 347 appearances for Arsenal and scored 115 goals. Smith wore the number 9 shirt for Arsenal, but he wore a few other numbers as well during his time at the club. The prolific striker was Arsenal’s top scorer for four seasons in a row. He currently works as a football pundit in the media. Smith was born on November 21, 1962.
