Arsenal have reportedly asked about Nabil Fekir according to a report from Mundo Deportivo in Spain.
Arsenal have been heavily linked with a move for Nabil Fekir for a number of seasons now and, as we approach the summer once again, he is apparently back on the club’s radar.
The 27-year-old now plays for Real Betis after a £17.78m move from Lyon in 2019 despite being worth a reported £54m at the time. In fact, the last time Arsenal were linked with him was last summer and €50m was reportedly still his asking price.

Arsenal make Nabil Fekir offer 6 years after father urged him to join
IN 2015, HIS FATHER TOLD REPORTERS: “IF [FEKIR] LEAVES, IT WILL BE FOR ARSENAL. IT’S THE ONLY CLUB THAT CAN ENABLE HIM TO PROGRESS, WITH ARSENE WENGER.”
The summer Fekir moved, Arsenal were told he would cost €30m (£25.6m) but Arsenal splashed all their cash on Nicolas Pepe instead, overpaying for the Ivorian by around the cost of one Nabil Fekir.
The piece in Mundo Deportivo is short.
Translated, it reads:
Arsenal go for Fekir
“Nabil Fekir is starring in a remarkable season with Betis, which has not gone unnoticed for Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal, who has more than decided to launch himself for the French midfielder next summer and has already asked for him.”
Fekir has three goals and six assists in 30 appearances this season and seems to be one of the options Arsenal are considering if they are unable to convince Real Madrid to part with Martin Odegaard.
