Three Arsenal players have been included in the Spain squad for the November international break, whilst Cristhian Mosquera will be with the u21s.

Spain have confirmed Luis de la Fuente’s call-ups for the upcoming November international break, with Arsenal trio David Raya, Martin Zubimendi, and Mikel Merino all included.
Cristhian Mosquera is also a Spain international, having made his debut for the side earlier this year. But rather than being called up for the senior squad on this occasion, he’s been included in the u21 squad.
Kepa Arrizabalaga is the only Arsenal Spaniard not to be involved in either team, as he struggles for consistent minutes with his club. It’s now been more than three years since his last call-up.

The Spain senior side will play a couple of Nations League fixtures over the break, facing Czechia away from home on Thursday, November 12th at 19:45 GMT, and England at home on Sunday, November 15th at 19:45 as well.
Spain have a 100% record in the group stage so far, and two more wins (or a win and a draw against England) would see them topping the group regardless of the other results.
The good news is that their international duties will be wrapped up by next weekend, giving the players almost a full week to prepare for the following game against Newcastle United.
Though based on prior experience, Raya, Zubimendi, and Merino are unlikely to be getting full 90-minute matches with Spain anyway.

As for the u21s, they’ll play a couple of friendly matches against Japan on Friday, November 13th at 18:00 GMT and Albania on Tuesday, November 17th at 18:00 GMT.
That will mean a slightly later return to Arsenal, but Mosquera is probably in need of the minutes after his recent injury, and he’s unlikely to start for the Gunners against Newcastle at the weekend.
