Arsenal have already had more than their fair share of injuries and Covid-19 absences in their loan group this season.

Daniel Ballard, Jordi Osei-Tutu, Matt Smith, Nikolaj Moller, and Tom Smith have all had injuries, knocks, or illnesses, and Reiss Nelson and Jonathan Dinzeyi are yet to even make their debuts so far.

Harry Clarke was one of few who had pretty much solely had a positive start to his loan, winning Ross County’s Player of the Month award after immediately breaking into their starting lineup.

The Arsenal 20-year-old scored against Rangers, and he made the official SPFL Team of the Week for his performance against Aberdeen, before playing another 90 minutes against Celtic. But now he’s the latest to join the injury list.

The Scottish Sun report that Clarke missed this weekend’s fixture against Hearts through injury, though there’s no word yet on the nature or severity of the problem.

The defender completed the full match against Celtic, so there was little sign of the issue at that stage. He will now be focusing on getting fit for their game against Motherwell next weekend.
