Writing on Twitter on Sunday, Ross County FC confirmed that Harry Clarke is their Player of the Month for August 2021.

The Ross County fans voted their summer loan signing from Arsenal up for the award, and even some Oldham Athletic fans came to congratulate him in the replies after his positive spell on loan with them last season.

Clarke made three appearances for Ross County in August, playing the second half against Hibs before starting against Rangers and Aberdeen FC.

Those are three tricky games, against three of the current top four in the league, so it’s perhaps no surprise Ross County only came away with a point from the fixtures. But Clarke did well on an individual basis.

The Arsenal 20-year-old scored against Rangers, and he made the official SPFL Team of the Week for his performance against Aberdeen, his only two starts so far. So a Player of the Month award with his club seems well deserved.
