Borussia Dortmund have become the latest club to be linked with a move for Matteo Guendouzi as the temperamental midfielder receives plenty of suitors.

Matteo Guendouzi has reportedly already agreed a four-year deal with Marseille but Arsenal and the Ligue 1 outfit have not been able to find an agreement.

This morning, the press in Portugal were linking Benfica with a move for Guendouzi to play as their number 8.

By evening, French reports were claiming ‘a colossal threat’ to Guendouzi’s move to Marseille from Borussia Dortmund, who want to sign him before the window closes. Be hard to sign him after that, I guess.

Even though Arsenal have tried to get Guendouzi to sign a new contract, that’s certainly asset protection over any desire to actually use him as a footballer. He currently has one year left on his Arsenal contract.
