Matteo Guendouzi and Marseille may have found an agreement but it seems that the two clubs are still some distance apart with Le10Sport in France calling Arsenal ‘greedy’.

The 22-year-old midfielder, who spent last season on loan with Hertha Berlin, is not wanted by Mikel Arteta. Marseille have been heavily involved in stories about Guendouzi’s future and it as been reported he has agreed a four-year deal at the club who are chasing a lot of Arsenal this summer.

Le10Sport report that Arsenal, as we know, are willing to sell the French ‘international hope’ but ‘are awaiting an offer well above €10m’ as negotiations continue.

Guendouzi only has one year left on his Arsenal contract with a valuation of around £18m (€21m).

His highest market value was £45m, one month after Mikel Arteta arrived at the end of 2019. It has been on a downward slide ever since.
