Daniel Ek still wants to buy Arsenal despite them flopping out of the Europa League against Villarreal this week.

Daniel Ek doesn’t seem to be going anywhere.

It was expected that the founder of Spotify would launch his official bid this week, however he decided to hold back so as to not distract from Arsenal’s biggest match of the season.

He needn’t have worried and, if we’re honest, it would have been a welcome distraction.

Although the Kroenke’s claim in public that they are ‘100% committed’ to Arsenal, privately Arsenal has reportedly been up for sale for two years with Kroenke actually telling one consortium the price at which he would sell.

That price has gone up over the last 24 months, despite Arsenal getting worse on the pitch, and Ek is expected to offer £1.8billion to get his hands on the club he genuinely supported as a kid.
