Arsenal announced on Saturday that Freddie Ljungberg was leaving the club in order to pursue head coach opportunities. It was sad, but understandable. Let’s hope he means it when he says he’ll be back.

Arsenal have set a date for getting fans back inside the Emirates, but will the pandemic allow them to meet it?

Regardless, the Premier League are unlikely to allow any away fans back into stadium crowds in the upcoming season, according to a report.

All accounts seem to believe that Arsenal have full and total agreement with Lille over the signing of Gabriel Magalhaes and with the player about joining Arsenal. Gabriel is expected to be announced as an Arsenal player this week and will probably get the number 6 shirt.

Gabriel will have (another) Arsenal medical on Tuesday.

Thia-go?

Arsenal have apparently ‘checked’ on Thiago Alcantara at Bayern Munich with the club eyeing the midfielder who is up for sale. They’d also like the Germans to lower his £23m price tag.

No swap

Napoli are apparently looking at a couple of Arsenal defenders as potential alternatives to Gabriel Magalhaes in the summer market, according to reports from Italy.

Ceballos to return?
