When Mikel Arteta was brought in to fix the mess Unai Emery had made of what Arsene Wenger left us, he’s had to use sticky plasters and tape to put the whole thing together.

This summer he will, apparently, get the chance to really stamp his mark on the squad.

Players said to be under threat according to the Daily Mail are Matteo Guendouzi, Sokratis and Ainsley-Maitland Niles with only the middle one of those three really expected to be on his way out.

Sami Mokbel also writes that Mesut Ozil could also leave, but he won’t as both he and his agent have repeatedly said.

Arsenal have reportedly already opened talks with Feyenoord over £23m-rated Orkun Kokcu.
