Celtic’s Kieran Tierney allegedly heads Arsenal’s short list in a story that comes from a seriously dodgy source.

Arsenal being linked with Kieran Tierney is nothing new, it’s been going on for at least a couple of seasons now.

Back in March, it was reported that the 22-year-old was one of three signings that Unai Emery wanted for Arsenal but, since that story, there hasn’t been anything else to back that up and it all went quite quiet.

There still doesn’t seem to be much to back up Arsenal’s reported interest, at least not at the levels it’s been claimed.

This week the story popped up again but it seems to all stem from soccerlink.fr which is hardly top-drawer when it comes to breaking news.

There’s absolutely no denying Kieran Tierney’s talent and, if he was to move, he would likely succeed wherever he went.

But you also have to accept that Arsenal simply don’t have the money needed to land him this summer given their limited budget and their need to strengthen a number of other positions as well.
