Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been fined £1,250 after he was caught speeding on the M1.
The Arsenal striker was present in Willesden Magistrates court on Monday after he was caught doing 99mph in his Lamborghini Aventador.
The car, all the papers want us to know, is worth £275,000.
He was also given six penalty points.
According to a report which first appeared in the S*n, prosecutor Alison Larkin told the court that, “The defendant was stopped and asked why he was speeding and made no reply.”
Robert Morris, Aubameyang’s lawyer, said Auba admitted speeding and added: “He is very sorry he is in this position. He accepts he has no excuse.
“He uses his car to attend training and matches. It is the top of the bracket but is not by any stretch of the imagination the worst case of speeding.”
