He did manage an assist for Giroud’s late equaliser, but in general it was another poor performance from the Chilean.

Özil seemed to be the only player awake in the opening 15 minutes, as he carried on his great form.

As the game went on, and he was moved into a makeshift midfield three, Mesut seemed to find it more difficult to have an impact.

By no means a bad performance, but his hard work went unrewarded.

Certainly the team’s best starter.

Alexandre Lacazette 5

Alexandre turned and shot well early on, and deserved a penalty after being taken out off the ball by Yoshida.

But with the way Arsenal played in the second half, they couldn’t get him involved, and he was eventually substituted for Giroud.
