Arsenal only lost one of their six matches in October.

While the Gunners did marginally ‘worse’ in October than in September, as Arsene Wenger’s side went unbeaten last month, there are still plenty of positives to take.

Arsenal aren’t playing perfectly at the moment but there’s definite signs of improvement. Our best match last month was probably our 0-0 against Chelsea away, which could become a crucial point come the end of the season.

However, in October, we beat Everton 5-2 at Goodison Park.

We’re going 1-0 behind and having to fight back from a losing position more often than I’d like but at least we ARE bouncing back now.

Arsenal also still have an 100% win rate in the Europa League and have progressed to the fifth round of the League Cup.

Not too shabby.

3. Carabao Cup

Arsenal are through to the fifth round of the League Cup after 18-year-old Eddie Nketiah saved our skin against Norwich.

The striker, who signed for Arsenal from Chelsea in 2015, came on in the 85th minute when the Gunners were 1-0 down and found the back of the net with his first touch of the game.

The teenager completed his brace in extra time.

While Eddie’s achievement was brilliant, it shouldn’t detract from the fact that Arsenal, until he came on, were terrible. Norwich deserved to be in front and could have probably scored more if they had taken their chances earlier on.

Improvement is needed from Arsenal’s fringe players if they want to prove themselves good enough to feature for the first team.
