Arsenal only lost one of their six matches in October.

While the Gunners did marginally ‘worse’ in October than in September, as Arsene Wenger’s side went unbeaten last month, there are still plenty of positives to take.

Arsenal aren’t playing perfectly at the moment but there’s definite signs of improvement. Our best match last month was probably our 0-0 against Chelsea away, which could become a crucial point come the end of the season.

However, in October, we beat Everton 5-2 at Goodison Park.

We’re going 1-0 behind and having to fight back from a losing position more often than I’d like but at least we ARE bouncing back now.

Arsenal also still have an 100% win rate in the Europa League and have progressed to the fifth round of the League Cup.

Not too shabby.

4. November preview

I’ll say it now, I’m pretty damn nervous about November.

Arsenal face Red Star at home on Thursday, which should be straight-forward enough.

However, we then have Manchester City away in the Premier League. Pep Guardiola’s side are practically unbeatable at the moment and I dread to think what they’ll do to us if we turn up in the wrong mindset.

We then have another interlull before hosting Spurs on 18 November. Our north London rivals, like it or not, are currently looking far more solid than us. I’m hoping we can use our home advantage to give us a boost.

Arsenal then travel to FC Cologne in the Europa League on 23 November. Again, that should be another three points in the bag but the Gunners don’t like to make things easy, do they?
