Arsenal only lost one of their six matches in October.

While the Gunners did marginally ‘worse’ in October than in September, as Arsene Wenger’s side went unbeaten last month, there are still plenty of positives to take.

Arsenal aren’t playing perfectly at the moment but there’s definite signs of improvement. Our best match last month was probably our 0-0 against Chelsea away, which could become a crucial point come the end of the season.

However, in October, we beat Everton 5-2 at Goodison Park.

We’re going 1-0 behind and having to fight back from a losing position more often than I’d like but at least we ARE bouncing back now.

Arsenal also still have an 100% win rate in the Europa League and have progressed to the fifth round of the League Cup.

Not too shabby.

2. Europa League

Arsenal beat BATE Borisov 4-2 and Red Star Belgrade 1-0 away in the Europa League this month.

While the BATE Borisov win was far more convincing and our younger players, such as Reiss Nelson, Joe Willock and Ainsley Maitland-Niles continue to impress, the wins weren’t half as straight-forward as most of us wanted.

However, they were two difficult grounds to go to and we’re currently top of the group.

Next, League Cup
