Arsenal beat BATE Borisov 4-2 in the Europa League on Thursday night but while some players were brilliant, others let the team down by making basic mistakes.

Well that was far more exciting than I thought it was going to be.

Theo Walcott managed to score a brace despite actually not playing well at all while Jack Wilshere was fantastic.

Defensively, Arsenal were a shambles but what else is new?

The Young Guns got a run out and, for the most part, impressed.

Theo Walcott – 8

While Theo scored a brace and could have scored more since he had SEVEN shots (four on target), and completed four dribbles, he wasn’t hugely exciting to watch and still seemed sloppy at times.

Jack Wilshere – 8.5

What a player. What. A. Player.

The midfielder completed 92% of his passes and had the time of his life playing Wenger-ball.

He linked up beautifully with Giroud.

There aren’t many players who excite Gooners as much as Jack.

Olivier Giroud – 100 (!)

Big Sexy FINALLY scored his 100th Arsenal goal. Okay, it was against BATE Borisov in the Europa League and fine it was the result of a weirdly awarded penalty but still…
