Who are the five players reported to be on Arsenal’s summer wishlist?

Arsene Wenger has reportedly given Arsenal chief executive, Ivan Gazidis, a five-man transfer wishlist this summer, but who’s on it?

According to Tribal Football [via the Telegraph] Wenger has presented Gazidis with a wishlist of five players that he wants Arsenal to sign this summer in order to really compete in the league next season.

Said list apparently consists of Kylian Mbappe, Alexandre Lacazette, and Thomas Lemar, who most will already be aware of, as well as RB Leipzig’s Emil Forsberg and Nice midfielder Jean Seri.

If the media are to be believed, Arsenal are ready to splash out anything between £87m to £122m on the 18-year-old striker, who scored 26 goals over all competitions for Monaco last season.

Whether Arsene Wenger, who’s admittedly a big fan, is really willing to go up against the likes of Real Madrid and Liverpool to sign the France international remains to be seen.

Arsenal have been linked with the 26-year-old Lyon striker since last summer when they had a bid of just over £30m rejected.

This year, the Gunners appear to be serious about signing the France international, who scored 37 goals in 45 appearances (all comps) last season, and are willing to fork out £60m, including add-ons.

Thomas Lemar

The midfielder was key for Monaco last season and is now worth 10 times what the Ligue 1 side originally paid Caen for him back in 2015 (£3.4m).

Wenger’s allegedly a huge fan of the 21-year-old France international, who scored 14 and assisted 17 in 55 appearances for Monaco last season.

Forsberg’s agent recently hinted that Arsenal are in the running to sign the £30m Swedish winger. However, Leipzig are apparently unwilling to sell.

The 25-year-old managed a whopping 22 assists in the Bundesliga last season, as well as eight goals.

Jean Seri

The Nice midfielder scored seven Ligue 1 goals and assisted nine in 34 appearances last season, and is apparently one of Arsenal’s main transfer targets this summer.

The 25-year-old will reportedly set the Gunners back around £35m.
