Alexis Sanchez is a doubt for Chile’s opening Confederation Cup game against Cameroon this weekend after the Arsenal man picked up an ankle injury and appeared to be carrying a crutch.
Of course, in true Alexis style, it wasn’t actually a crutch, just a dodgy photo. He also seems to be wearing a protective boot but again, that’s just some sort of weird photo voodoo.
Is that ice on his left leg? Who can tell at this point.

Not every Arsenal fan was that sympathetic, hoping instead that it means he will now be forced to have an actual break so he can recover ahead of the new season.
It’s not clear if he’s had a summer off since he discovered what a football was:
Alexis' summer involvements:
2014 World Cup
2015 Copa America
2016 Copa America
2017 Confederations Cup
