Arsene Wenger has called Alexis Sanchez’s penalty “too cool” after the Chilean stepped up in the dying seconds to give Arsenal all three points against Burnely.

Watching on from the tunnel after refusing to leave (he’s since apologised), Wenger saw Alexis step up to dink home after Laurent Koscielny almost had his face kicked-off in the box.

Jon Moss was gutted – all his work undone by the wave of a linesman’s flag (he certainly wasn’t giving it and had already waved away a clear penalty for Arsenal) but the Emirates exploded.

“Too cool,” was how Wenger described the panenka.

Hard to disagree.
