Arsene Wenger has told the media that he ‘regrets everything’ after he shoved Anthony Taylor in the Arsenal tunnel.
Saucy.
Wenger was sent from the pitch by Jon Moss after he lost the plot when Burnley were awarded a penalty. To be fair, he’d also just watched Jon Moss send Granit Xhaka off for a second time.
While there’s no debating that that sort of tackle should be a red, the fact is, for player not named Xhaka, it would be a yellow. Or, if you’re called Rojo it would be ‘have another one’.
Wenger also admitted that he should have just “shut up and gone in, I apologise for that” referring to his refusal to budge from the tunnel. However, in an earlier interview (shown below), he denied there was any physical altercation but did apologise and said he should have kept his control.

Don’t worry Arsene, we’d have all done the same.
