Santi Cazorla recently took part in a ‘super-fan’ interview while in LA and admitted that he feels very lucky to play with the likes of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.

The Spaniard, of course, also mentioned compatriot, Andres Iniesta, who he admitted he had to pick as his favourite to play with but he was also full of praise for his teammates.

To be fair to Santi, his injuries over the past couple of seasons have left him with limited game time. Last season he only made 15 Premier League appearances so he probably hasn’t had that much of a chance to actually play with Ozil and Alexis. Hopefully, this coming season will be different.

Cazorla may not be fit for the start of the season but perhaps Arsene Wenger’s caution will mean when he is fit, he’ll stay fit for the majority of the campaign. Despite being 31, Santi is still one of the best players in our squad and it’d be a shame to see that go to waste.
