Alex Scott has begun rallying the troops ahead of Arsenal Ladies’ Conti Cup quarter-final clash against Notts County tonight (Friday).

The match kicks off at 7pm UK time and is bound to be a cracking game with both teams desperate for the win.

Arsenal will be looking to bounce back from their 2-1 FA WSL loss to Liverpool, which has left them trailing leaders Manchester City by nine points and second place Chelsea by two.

Notts County on the other hand are down in sixth with just nine points overall. However, they’ll be looking to exact revenge for Arsenal’s win over them in the FA Cup quarter-final (on penalties – ouch).

Alex Scott is confident that Arsenal can progress to the Conti Cup semi-finals and issued a rallying cry via her Twitter, posting the details of the game and an entirely capitalised “SEE YOU THERE!”.

Although the Arsenal mens’ team will be kicking off at the same time against the Vikings, it’s worth keeping an eye out to see how our Ladies are doing.
