Mathieu Debuchy has returned from…where was he again? France?

The right-back, who many didn’t believe would still be at the club by this point, rocked up at London Colney on Tuesday and, by the looks of things, we let him run around a bit.

The 30-year-old ended last season at Ligue 1 club Bordeaux in hope of being picked for the France Euro 2016 squad. Unfortunately, he suffered an injury just before and was ruled out.

It looks like he’s actually going to be in north London next season, which perhaps means he’s finally made his peace with playing second fiddle to Hector Bellerin. Either that, or we’re just trying to find somewhere else to send him. Alternatively, he’s just trying to stay fit until he finds another club; his phone is probably in his pocket.
