Lukas Podolski has already said that he wants to come back to Arsenal.

The World Cup winner, who scored his first goal for Inter Milan earlier in the week, has already made it clear that he has ‘unfinished business’ with the Gunners however it remains to be seen to Arsene Wenger thinks that he should be given the chance to finish it.

With a year left on his contract, the German is apparently wanted by three Premier League clubs – West Brom, Sunderland and Newcastle United – an indication, perhaps, of how low his stock has fallen during this season.

Podolski is a footballer who just wants to play so it is hard to rule out a move to any of those three clubs. That being said, he has shown a blindspot when it comes to his own shortcomings and he may believe that he deserves a club who are a little higher up the pecking order than the three mentioned.

Joining Arsenal in 2011 for £11m, he would be available for a fraction of that and it’s really hard to see him still being at the club when the summer window shuts.

The question is, where will he end up?
