Sol Campbell played for Arsenal Football Club. The former English defender famously joined Arsenal from Tottenham Hotspur in 2001 on a free transfer. Campbell left Arsenal for Portsmouth in 2006 on a free transfer, but returned briefly in 2010. In total, he made 211 appearances for Arsenal and scored 12 goals. Campbell wore the number 23 shirt for Arsenal, but wore the number 31 on his return in 2010. He was part of the Invincibles squad that won the League without losing a match. Campbell is currently the manager of Southend United. He was born on September 18, 1974.
