George Armstrong played for Arsenal Football Club. The former English midfielder joined Arsenal in 1961 and left in 1977 for Leicester City. In total, he made 621 appearances for Arsenal and scored 68 goals. “Geordie” wore the number 7 and the number 11 shirt for Arsenal. After retiring, he went on to manage Enderby Town, FK MjĂžlner, and the Kuwaiti national team. Armstrong was born on August 9, 1944 and passed away on October 31, 2000 at the age of 56.
