Charlie George was one of the greatest players to ever play for Arsenal Football club. The former English forward joined Arsenal in 1966 and made his senior debut in 1969. George left Arsenal for Derby County in 1975 for £100,000. In total, he made 179 appearances for Arsenal and scored 49 goals. George wore the number 11 shirt for Arsenal when they won the Double in 1971, but he has worn several other numbers as well. He was born on October 10, 1950.
