AC Milan (Associazione Calcio Milan) is a professional soccer club based in Milan, Italy. The club was founded in 1899 and is considered one of the most successful and prestigious clubs in the world.
Throughout its history, AC Milan has had a great deal of success in domestic and international competitions. In Italy, they have won the Serie A league title 18 times, the Coppa Italia 5 times and the Supercoppa Italiana 7 times. In Europe, they have won the European Cup/Champions League 7 times, which is the second most by any club, behind Real Madrid. They also have won the UEFA Cup three times, and the UEFA Super Cup five times.
AC Milan’s home games are played at the San Siro Stadium, which they share with city rivals, Inter Milan. They have a huge fanbase in Italy and around the world. The team has a fierce rivalry with Inter Milan and is considered as one of the biggest Derby in the world. Over the years, many of the world’s best players have played for AC Milan, including legends such as Franco Baresi, Paolo Maldini, Marco van Basten, and Kaka.
