Edu played for Arsenal Football Club. The former Brazilian midfielder joined Arsenal from Corinthians 2001 for £6m. Edu left Arsenal for Valencia in 2005 on a free transfer. In total, he made 127 appearances for Arsenal and scored 15 goals. Edu wore the number 17 shirt for Arsenal. He was a part of the Invincibles squad that won the league without losing a match. Edu was born on May 15, 1978. He is currently the Technical Director at Arsenal.
