Emiliano Viviano may not have featured at all for the Arsenal first team while on loan with us from Palermo, but he’s been thriving at Sampdoria.
The 29-year-old even made Serie A’s top 11 last season after keeping the new Manchester United keeper, Sergio Romero, benched – a fact he was more than willing to wave in the face of a fan who crawled over to his Twitter page on the hunt for #topbantz (probably).
The fan retweeted the goalkeeper’s original message upon joining Arsenal, adding his own comment, “Where did this guy even go?”
To which Viviano replied:
