Yaya Sanogo was a late second half substitute for Ajax as they drew 2-2 with Rapid Wien in their Champions League qualifying match.

The Frenchman, who is in Amsterdam on loan for the season, came on in the 84th minute as he replaced Arkadiusz Milik.

Getting just seven minutes game time, Yaya will be hoping that he will be able to impress in training in order to get regular minutes as the season progresses.

During the game, the Dutch side took a two-goal lead in the first half through a double from Davy Klaassen but were pegged back by the Austrians in the second half through goals by Florian Kainz and Robert Beric.

The second leg of the third qualifying round will take place at the Amsterdam Arena on 4th August and with two away goals in the bag Ajax must surely be confident of progressing at home.
