Serge Gnabry has returned to training with Arsenal after his break following the u21 Euros and is targeting a ‘powerful’ season.
The German missed almost the entire campaign last season with a knee injury that he picked up during the 13/14 campaign and will be hopeful of making up for lost time this season. He made just eight appearances for the u21 side last term, scoring three and assisting two.
Linked with a number of clubs on loan it would seem that he is set to leave the club this summer temporarily with only an injury crisis likely to open the door to the first team given the wealth of options that Arsene Wenger has at his disposal.
Taking to his official Twitter account, Serge tweeted
I’ve been back in training for a week now after my #u21euro holidays. The mission as of now: full power #COYG #AFC pic.twitter.com/UtBdgl0o5w
