Sky Sports report that Arsenal are following Balde as they continue their search for a new winger. Though the Gunners are expected to make an offer for Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha, Balde is another of interest to Arsenal, especially after Palace raised Zaha’s price to £100m.

After spending the season on loan with Inter Milan, Balde is keen on a move to the Premier League. Inter had a purchase option in the winger’s contract but decided not to take it up as they’re restricted in what they can spend this summer.

Balde would reportedly now be available for between £25m and £28m. Le10Sport have also weighed in on the rumour, confirming that Balde’s profile is attractive to Arsenal but there hasn’t been any concrete movement towards a deal yet.

The winger struggled to break into the team with Inter, but he did well with the limited chances he had. In just 1,089 minutes in all competitions, Balde scored five goals and assisted three, one every 136 minutes.

The 24-year-old is keeping that up on international duty, where coincidentally he’s played exactly 136 minutes for Senegal and scored one goal at the Africa Cup of Nations.
