An important note: kick-off times and dates are provisional as TV and internet broadcasts are likely to see schedule changes as we saw last season were more than 50% of our Sunday games were moved to 12.30pm.

Arsenal will have to hit the ground running with matches 2, 4 and 5 against the other three big-budget sides. As we know from history, no team has won the league with more than two defeats so any early slip-up would put the title defence at risk.
Drawing too many games is not an option either as Manchester City found out last year. They could have finished the domestic season unbeaten yet still finished as runner-ups in the League.
Matchday 6 will see Arsenal play Spurs away at White Hart Lane and, hopefully, more games during the season will be played at the men’s Premier League grounds.
Matchday 12 and 13 will see us play Chelsea and City.
By the end of February, we will know if we are still in the running to defend our title in what may be the most competitive League season since 2014 when we saw three teams fighting on the final day for the title with Liverpool nicking it late.
