When the rumour broke that Sergio Aguero has been playing with a heel injury this season, we put it to you whether you’d still prefer the forward over Alexis Sanchez at the moment and the results left little room for interpretation.

With Alexis playing poorly and Aguero still netting 13 goals in 19 appearances despite reportedly being injury, Arsenal fans claim they would much rather have the Manchester City forward at their club than the Chilean, who one fan even described as a ‘lazy kid’.

Only 15% of the 398 Arsenal fans who voted in our poll said they would rather have Alexis and considering his attitude this season, I’m surprised that even that many would put up with him over Aguero.

Aguero has allegedly been dealing with a heel problem this season and is reportedly having to undergo daily treatment. However, the 29-year-old has only missed four Premier League games and is therefore supposedly feeling more than a little peeved over the way Manchester City have treated him as he reckons he should be getting more game time.

Aguero has made 12 starts in the Premier League. However, the Argentine very rarely finishes a match and he apparently feels that 20-year-old Gabriel Jesus is being favoured by Pep Guardiola.

Aguero was linked with Arsenal during the summer and if allowing Alexis to leave meant we got him, most Gooners were game.

Now, four months into the new season, I’d say that most would be willing to drive the 28-year-old to Manchester themselves.
